St Sorlin d'Arves - Resort description & ski information

As part of the large Les Sybelles ski area, Saint Sorlin d'Arves has plenty to offer the visitor. The ski area is home to 310km of piste, and this quaint village combines easy access to first class amenities with an Alpine charm that is hard to beat. A great choice for families and laid-back ski enthusiasts, this pleasant resort will keep you coming back for more.

Skiing in Saint Sorlin d'Arves

St Sorlin itself has 120km of north-facing pistes to explore, with enough blues and greens to get any beginner off to a great start. Le Corbier offers some great intermediate skiing, while anyone looking for a real challenge can head off-piste for some pristine skiing conditions. There are also a couple of snowparks on hand, and just in case that isn't enough, there is the rest of Les Sybelles to explore with its 22 green, 42 blue, 27 red and 5 black runs.

The resort

This friendly little resort has just enough going on away from the slopes to keep most people content. A few friendly bars and restaurants and one nightclub make up the après-ski scene here, while there is a cinema in nearby St Jean d'Arves. Activities on offer include a visit to the Beaufort cheese factory, paragliding, snowshoeing, dog sledging and ice skating.
