The 3-star Résidence Les Terrasses de Veret offers guests modern interiors and beautiful surroundings in the area of Flaine-Fôret, in the centre of the ski resort of Flaine in the French Alps.

The property is located conveniently for the slopes, with lift access just across from the residence directly connecting guests to Flaine-Forum in the centre of the resort. The accommodation is also perfectly located next to the Grands Vans chair lift and the lift pass office, as well as the ESF ski school. Supermarkets and a regional food market are both less than 300m away, and the many bars, restaurants and shops of Flaine-Forum are within easy reach.

Apartments

Enjoy simple, modern comfort at the 3-star Résidence Les Terrasses de Veret. The apartments offer plenty of space, with a compact but fully equipped kitchen which includes hotplates, microwave oven, kettle, toasted, cafetière, fridge and dishwasher. There is also a dining area, living room, and balcony or terrace with views over the resort.

After a long day exploring the mountain, take the short walk to the apartments from the Grands Vans ski lift and relax in the heated indoor swimming pool. There is also an outdoor Jacuzzi where guests can enjoy stunning views of the resort and its surrounding alpine landscape. Those wanting to stay dry can head to the living room area where there is a fireplace and free WiFi available, as well as comfortable seating and cosy decor. Ski storage and an outdoor terrace area complete the residence.

Flaine

In the Haute-Savoie region, purpose-built Flaine is situated at an altitude of 1800-2500m at the top of the one of the largest linked ski areas in France. With services, shops and amenities all grouped together, many just a few steps away from your accommodation, Flaine is a great choice for a hassle-free ski holiday and particularly attractive to families due to the huge number of ski schools available. Modern and practical, the resort offers a wealth of activities, entertainment, bars and restaurants all right on your doorstep.

The ski area

Part of one of the largest linked ski areas in France, visitors to Flaine have access to 265km of slopes, 133 carefully maintained runs, and can enjoy one of the best snow records in the French Alps. The Grand Massif links Flaine with the traditional villages of Samoens, Morillon, Les Carroz and Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval, all of which are at a lower altitude and below the tree line. The Flaine bowl is ideal for slower and intermediate skiers, with a difficult blue to get back to the resort, although there are also some black and red runs to be found to challenge more advanced skiers. Most of the slopes are wide, ideal for those with the family, but the Gers bowl is ideal for expert skiers. For more extensive skiing the rest of the Grande Massif is easily accessible.

Other activities

Flaine offers a huge range of additional winter activities to enjoy, including hiking and snowshoe walking into the mountainous terrain, as well as plenty for families, too. Parents can spoil their little ones with dog sledding, sledding, bowling, or the ice rink for time off the mountain.

Please inform the reception or the reservations centre in advance and we will advise you of the late arrival procedure.

Key collection

Check in is from 5 pm onwards. The keys are available at the reception on presentation of your voucher.

Deposit

On arrival you have to pay a deposit of 400 euros for your apartment (Visa, Euro Card, French cheque). This will be returned to you within 15 days of your departure assuming there are no charges for breakages or additional cleaning.

Cleaning

End of Stay Cleaning is not included in the accommodation price and clients are required to clean the property before departure. Please note that cleaning products are not always provided.

An End of Stay Cleaning deposit of 56-140 euros (depending on type) will be taken upon arrival which will be returned along with your Damage Deposit.

Payment conditions

Ski France offers 3 options for payment:

1) Pay in 3 installments: 10% deposit at the time of booking, 10% two months before the date of arrival and the remaining balance 14 days before the date of arrival. This method of payment is only available for bookings made by telephone more than 70 days before the stay.
2) Pay in two installments: 10% deposit at the time of booking and payment of the remaining balance 14 days before the date of arrival. This method of payment is only available when the booking is made more than 15 days before the arrival date.
3) Pay in 1 installment: pay the full amount at the time of booking and receive a discount of 15 GBP on the overall price of the stay. This method of payment is valid for stays of 7 nights or more, booked more than 40 days before arrival and for a minimum purchase of 150 GBP.

- Any extras added more than 14 days prior to arrival will be added to the final payment
- Any extras added after the final payment to be paid at the time of addition to booking.
- If the booking was made under the 'non refundable' terms, the total amount will be debited at the time of the booking (the discount of 15 GBP is not available on these prices).

Methods of payment accepted:
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, cheques*, holiday vouchers*.
*(only for reservations made more than a month before arrival).
For payments desired by cheque or holiday vouchers the deposit must be paid by way of debit/credit card - Visa, Mastercard, American Express and the second and/or third payment can be made by cheque or holiday voucher.
Arrival date less than 14 days: The total amount of the booking must be paid in full online, by debit/credit card at the time of booking.

Cancellation conditions

1) If you choose Free Cancellation Conditions
If the client cancels a reservation the following amounts will be retained:
-More than 14 days before the arrival date: repayment of the deposit
-Between 14 days and the date of arrival: 100% of the total price will be retained.
-No show: the total price of the reservation will be retained

2) If you choose Non Refundable Conditions
As part of the low price non-refundable offer, in the case of a cancellation you will be invoiced for the total amount at any time
