Location

Les Chalets des Alpages are located in a quiet area of La Plagne, in the village of Plagne Village *, overlooking the beautiful mountains and the resort. An ideal location for an alpine holiday, make these Ski France chalets your base from which to explore the mountains and varied activities on offer in the summer.

The accommodation provides the perfect location to explore La Plagne, with the central square of Plagne Soleil, and it's small selection of shops, bars and restaurants on your doorstep and the main resort of Plagne Centre only a short free shuttle bus or car journey away. Straight from the lodges, guests will find beautiful trails and walks to explore throughout the La Plagne plateau.

The chalets

The Chalets du Praz are south and west facing, and are built in a traditional wooden style. All chalets come with a fireplace, and extra firewood is available to purchase from reception.

Relax in the privacy of your own chalet with a cosy fire and the freedom to cook and eat as and when you like. The chalets come with a fully-equipped kitchen with hobs, microwave and oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and cafetière coffee maker. Les Chalets des Alpages welcome families and smaller children, with cots and high chairs available on request.

Ski France's bilingual staff are on hand to assist with any queries before, during and after your holiday. With both the call centre and resort team able to help with alpine excursions, linen rental and things to do in the resort.

Board options

All chalets are self-catered, and come with a fully-equipped kitchen, giving total freedom to cook and eat as and when you wish. Ask at reception to hire a raclette or fondue kit for a traditional and tasty evening in. There is a small supermarket within walking distance, and the small resort of La Plagne Soleil features a good selection of restaurants and bars. Guests can catch the bus into the main resort of La Plagne Centre for a wide variety of places to eat and relax.

La Plagne

During the summer season, in July and August, the La Plagne resort offers a huge range of holiday entertainment for all. With hiking trails, fantastic mountain biking and water-based activities such as white-water-rafting, canoeing and swimming in the outdoor pools, La Plagne offers a holiday jam-packed with activities.

For the more relaxed visitor, La Plagne boasts a range of spas, bars and restaurants to while away the days. There's also a cinema, indoor climbing centre and indoor swimming pools for those undercover days.

Activities

Les Chalets des Alpages have direct access to the pistes. As well as downhill skiing, the resort also offers a range of adrenalin-boosting activities, such as snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, ice climbing, glacier walking and forest zip wire. For more leisurely hours, the resort includes an ice skating rink, and is surrounded by wonderful snowshoe walking trails. For ultimate relaxation, various spas throughout the resort offer a luxurious break from the snow.

Late arrival (after 8 pm)

Please inform the reception or the reservations centre in advance and we will advise you of the late arrival procedure.

Key collection

Check in is from 5pm onwards. The keys are available at the reception on presentation of your voucher.

Cleaning

End of Stay Cleaning is not included in the accommodation price and clients are required to clean the property before departure. Please note that cleaning products are not always provided.

An End of Stay Cleaning deposit of 168-240Eu (depending on type) will be taken upon arrival which will be returned along with your Damage Deposit.

Deposit

On arrival you have to pay a deposit of 1000Eu for your chalet (Visa, Euro Card, French Cheque). This will be returned to you within 15 days of your departure assuming there are no charges for breakages or additional cleaning.

How are you travelling to the Alps?

Payment conditions

Ski France offers 3 options for payment:

1) Pay in 3 instalments: 10% deposit at the time of booking, 10% two months before the date of arrival and the remaining balance one month before the date of arrival. This method of payment is only available for bookings made by telephone more than 70 days before the stay.
2) Pay in two instalments: 10% deposit at the time of booking and payment of the remaining balance 30 days before the date of arrival. This method of payment is only available when the booking is made more than 31 days before the arrival date.
3) Pay in 1 instalment: pay the full amount at the time of booking and receive a discount of 15 GBP on the overall price of the stay. This method of payment is valid for stays of 7 nights or more, booked more than 40 days before arrival and for a minimum purchase of 150 GBP.

- Any extras added more than 31 days prior to arrival will be added to the final payment
- Any extras added after the final payment to be paid at the time of addition to booking.
-If the booking was made under the 'non refundable' terms, the total amount will be debited at the time of the booking (the discount of 15 GBP is not available on these prices).

Methods of payment accepted:
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, cheques*, holiday vouchers*.
*(only for reservations made more than a month before arrival).
For payments desired by cheque or holiday vouchers the deposit must be paid by way of debit/credit card - Visa, Mastercard, American Express and the second and/or third payment can be made by cheque or holiday voucher.
Arrival date less than 31 days: The total amount of the booking must be paid in full online, by debit/credit card at the time of booking.

Cancellation conditions

1) If you choose Standard Conditions
If the client cancels a reservation the following amounts will be retained:
-More than 30 days before the date of arrival: 30% of the price of the holiday
-Between 30 days and 21 days before arrival: 45% of the price of the holiday
-Between 20 days and 8 days before arrival: 60% of the price of the holiday
-Between 7 days and 4 days before arrival: 90% of the price of the holiday
-Less than 3 days before arrival: 100% of the price of the holiday

2) If you choose Non Refundable Conditions
As part of the low price non-refundable offer, in the case of a cancellation you will be invoiced for the total amount at any time
