Location

A relaxed, warm and friendly welcome awaits at these fuss-free ski-in, ski-out self-catered chalets on the slopes of the Paradiski area. Ski France welcomes you to the heart of Plagne Village* within the La Plagne Resort.

Ideally located on the slopes, (300m from the chalet) the chalets enjoy a beautiful landscape. The central square of Plagne Village, with its small selection of shops, bars and restaurants is on your doorstep, whereas the main resort of Plagne Centre is easily reached by free shuttle bus or car.

The chalets

The Chalets du Praz are south and west facing, and are built in a traditional wooden style. All chalets come with a fireplace, and extra firewood is available to purchase from reception. After a hard day's skiing across the breath-taking and extensive Paradiski, ski or stroll straight to your accommodation, leaving your equipment in the storage area.

Relax in the privacy of your own chalet with a cosy fire and the freedom to cook and eat as and when you like. The chalets come with a fully-equipped kitchen with hobs, microwave and oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and cafetière coffee maker. Les Chalets des Alpages welcomes families and smaller children, with cots and high chairs available on request.

Ski France' bilingual staff are on hand to assist with any queries before, during and after your holiday. With both the call centre and resort team able to help with ski hire and lesson booking, alpine excursions, linen rental and things to do in the resort.

Board options

All chalets are self-catered, and come with a fully-equipped kitchen, giving total freedom to cook and eat as and when you wish. Ask at reception to hire a raclette or fondue kit for a traditional and tasty evening in. There is a small supermarket within walking distance, and the small resort of La Plagne Village features a good selection of restaurants and bars. Guests can catch the bus into the main resort of La Plagne Centre for a wide variety of places to eat and relax.

La Plagne

The chalets are situated in the centre of La Plagne Village, which has an altitude of 2100m, one of 10 villages that make up the extensive La Plagne ski resort. This compact, family-friendly village offers excellent access to the ski area and is only short ski, walk or free shuttle bus away from the amenities of La Plagne Centre. One of the largest and most popular ski resorts in France, La Plagne shares the huge Paradiski ski area with neighbouring Les Arcs. Named the most-visited ski resort in the world in 2015, La Plagne offers everything you need for a truly memorable holiday, with a vast range of winter activities, shops, restaurants, spas and bars.

Paradiski ski area

La Plagne has a very impressive ski area in its own right, delivering a wide variety of terrain to suit all abilities spread across 225km of pistes culminating on the Bellecote glacier at 3250m altitude. Although catering for all levels of skiers, La Plagne's huge selection of rolling blue pistes make it an intermediate's dream. More experienced skiers should upgrade to a Paradiski lift pass, giving you access to Les Arcs via the jaw-dropping Vanoise Express Cablecar . Over in Les Arcs you can access a further 200km of pistes and therefore a total of 425km, making the Paradiski one of the largest ski areas in France. The area offers a huge choice of skiing terrain, with everything from glaciers, alpine steeps, open bowls and tree runs to keep all types of skier satisfied.

Late arrival (after 8 pm)

Please inform the reception or the reservations centre in advance and we will advise you of the late arrival procedure.

Key collection

Check in is from 5pm onwards. The keys are available at the reception on presentation of your voucher.

Cleaning

End of Stay Cleaning is not included in the accommodation price and clients are required to clean the property before departure. Please note that cleaning products are not always provided.

An End of Stay Cleaning deposit of 168-240Eu (depending on type) will be taken upon arrival which will be returned along with your Damage Deposit.

Deposit

On arrival you have to pay a deposit of 1000Eu for your chalet (Visa, Euro Card, French Cheque). This will be returned to you within 15 days of your departure assuming there are no charges for breakages or additional cleaning.

Payment conditions

Ski France offers 3 options for payment:

1) Pay in 3 instalments: 10% deposit at the time of booking, 10% two months before the date of arrival and the remaining balance one month before the date of arrival. This method of payment is only available for bookings made by telephone more than 70 days before the stay.
2) Pay in two instalments: 10% deposit at the time of booking and payment of the remaining balance 30 days before the date of arrival. This method of payment is only available when the booking is made more than 31 days before the arrival date.
3) Pay in 1 instalment: pay the full amount at the time of booking and receive a discount of 15 Eu on the overall price of the stay. This method of payment is valid for stays of 7 nights or more, booked more than 40 days before arrival and for a minimum purchase of 100 Eu.

- Any extras added more than 30 days prior to arrival will be added to the final payment
- Any extras added after the final payment to be paid at the time of addition to booking.
-If the booking was made under the 'non refundable' terms, the total amount will be debited at the time of the booking (the discount of 15 Eu is not available on these prices).

Methods of payment accepted:
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, cheques*, holiday vouchers*.
*(only for reservations made more than a month before arrival).
For payments desired by cheque or holiday vouchers the deposit must be paid by way of debit/credit card - Visa, Mastercard, American Express and the second and/or third payment can be made by cheque or holiday voucher.
Arrival date less than 40 days: The total amount of the booking must be paid in full online, by debit/credit card at the time of booking.

Cancellation policy

1) If you choose Standard Conditions
If the client cancels a reservation the following amounts will be retained:
-More than 30 days before the date of arrival: 30% of the price of the holiday
-Between 30 days and 21 days before arrival: 45% of the price of the holiday
-Between 20 days and 8 days before arrival: 60% of the price of the holiday
-Between 7 days and 4 days before arrival: 90% of the price of the holiday
-Less than 3 days before arrival: 100% of the price of the holiday

2) If you choose Non Refundable Conditions
As part of the low price non-refundable offer, in the case of a cancellation you will be invoiced for the total amount at any time
