Location

The resort of Les Orres lies within the French Alps and is divided into three smaller villages - 1550, 1650 and 1800. Our property, the Résidence Le Parc des Airelles, can be found in 1800 - also known as Bois Méan.

Situated just 800m from the heart of the Les Orres resort, the chalets are in an ideal location for venturing out and exploring the surrounding mountains and lakes. With truly incredible views to enjoy as well as a chance to take part in a variety of water-sports in the lakes, Les Orres makes for both a scenic and activity-packed alpine retreat.

The apartments

The Résidence Le Parc des Airelles offers comfortable accommodation where you can enjoy south facing balconies or terraces to make the most of the sun, as well as large bay windows opening out onto the spectacular views. The chalets are well laid out and spacious, with fully furnished kitchens, ideal for those who want to enjoy a self-catered holiday.

In winter you can also ski into the complex, make use of the boot room and ski lockers and head to reception to warm up in the communal living room by the fire. There are also games and a pool table available, as well as free WiFi to ensure your stay is as relaxing as possible. Guests use the well-being centre free of charge at Résidence Les Balcons des Airelles, found just across the road.

Board options

All apartments at the Résidence Le Parc des Airelles are self-catered, offering guests the choice of making their own dishes or eating out in the resort. There are supermarkets stocking both international cuisines and French delicacies, as well as restaurants and bars serving a variety of delicious dishes in the Les Orres resort, which is just 800m away.

The residence offers a video game area, pétanque balls and board games are available for loan at the reception.
Your residence also organizes a welcome drink and a snack for the children once a week.

Les Orres

Enjoy beautiful views over the Serre-Ponçon Lake, greenpastures and a great array of activities, sports and pretty trails to explore. During the summer there are plenty of opportunities to meander the beautiful mountains and lake surrounding the resort of Les Orres.

Backing onto the trails, Résidence Le Parc des Airelles is the ideal place to start. From here you can hike up the mountains and across valleys, take a mountain bike and explore or pack a picnic and head out on an all-day adventure.

Things to see

Les Orres sits just 20 km from Les Ecrins National Park, which is populated with beautiful fauna and flora. The park is definitely worth visiting simply to experience the peace and quiet of this protected area.

In July and August, tourists can join a guided tour, which traverses around Les Orres itself, showing off the Sainte Marie-Madeleine church with its bell tower, the Municipal museum, plus Notre Dame de la Présentation church, with it's sundial signed by Zarbula, the famed sundial maker, from 1853.

Activities

The Serre-Ponçon Lake is an idyllic setting for a selection of fantastic activities guaranteed to keep the whole family occupied, including water skiing, kite surfing, kayaking and windsurfing. The lake also offers a series of inflatable floating obstacles including a slide, climbing wall and swing, those brave enough are guaranteed a challenging adventure. Les Orres is also home to a bowling alley, plus rock-climbing facilities and horse-riding trips are also available, as well as plentiful biking and hiking routes.

Late arrival (after 7 pm)

Please inform the reception or the reservations centre in advance and we will advise you of the late arrival procedure.

Key collection

Check in is from 5 pm onwards. The keys are available at the reception on presentation of your voucher.

Deposit

On arrival you have to pay a deposit of 400 Eu (Visa, Euro Card, French Cheque) for your apartment. Your deposit will be returned to you 15 days after your departure with any necessary deductions made for breakages and additional cleaning.

Cleaning

End of Stay Cleaning is not included in the accommodation price and clients are required to clean the property before departure. Please note that cleaning products are not always provided.

An End of Stay Cleaning deposit of 42-140 Eu (depending on type) will be taken upon arrival which will be returned along with your Damage Deposit.

Payment conditions

Ski France offers 3 options for payment:

1) Pay in 3 instalments: 10% deposit at the time of booking, 10% two months before the date of arrival and the remaining balance one month before the date of arrival. This method of payment is only available for bookings made by telephone more than 70 days before the stay.
2) Pay in two instalments: 10% deposit at the time of booking and payment of the remaining balance 14 days before the date of arrival. This method of payment is only available when the booking is made more than 15 days before the arrival date.
3) Pay in 1 instalment: pay the full amount at the time of booking and receive a discount of 15 GBP on the overall price of the stay. This method of payment is valid for stays of 7 nights or more, booked more than 40 days before arrival and for a minimum purchase of 150 GBP.

- Any extras added more than 15 days prior to arrival will be added to the final payment
- Any extras added after the final payment to be paid at the time of addition to booking.
-If the booking was made under the 'non refundable' terms, the total amount will be debited at the time of the booking (the discount of 15 GBP is not available on these prices).

Methods of payment accepted:
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, cheques*, holiday vouchers*.
*(only for reservations made more than a month before arrival).
For payments desired by cheque or holiday vouchers the deposit must be paid by way of debit/credit card - Visa, Mastercard, American Express and the second and/or third payment can be made by cheque or holiday voucher.
Arrival date less than 15 days: The total amount of the booking must be paid in full online, by debit/credit card at the time of booking.

Cancellation conditions

1) If you choose Free Cancellation Conditions
If the client cancels a reservation the following amounts will be retained:
-More than 30 days before the arrival date: repayment of the deposit
-Between 30 days and the date of arrival: 100% of the total price will be retained.
-No show: the total price of the reservation will be retained

2) If you choose Standard Conditions
If the client cancels a reservation the following amounts will be retained:
-More than 30 days before the date of arrival: 30% of the price of the holiday
-Between 30 days and 21 days before arrival: 45% of the price of the holiday
-Between 20 days and 8 days before arrival: 60% of the price of the holiday
-Between 7 days and 4 days before arrival: 90% of the price of the holiday
-Less than 3 days before arrival: 100% of the price of the holiday

3) If you choose Non Refundable Conditions
As part of the low price non-refundable offer, in the case of a cancellation you will be invoiced for the total amount at any time
