Location

Although winter sports are undeniably the main draw of the Residence Les Balcons des Airelles, there is still plenty to enjoy in the summer months, with ski resorts becoming increasingly popular thanks to the activities on offer. Explore the mountain trails either on foot or on a mountain bike; some areas even offer the option of taking in the views from horseback. There is also an array of water sports available on the mountain lakes.

The apartments

The Residence Les Balcons des Airelles adds comfort and security to family ski holidays in Les Orres. You'll find all the little details taken care of, well laid out apartments, and stunning views from almost all of the rooms. After a day on the slopes guests can make use of the complex's indoor heated swimming pool (closed once a week). Enjoy views of the stunning mountain and forest terrain surrounding the Residence from your own private balcony, or make delicious dishes in the well equipped kitchen.

Ski France's experienced staff are able to book ski passes, arrange equipment hire, and assist with much more for your holiday in these beautiful apartments. Apartments are located in the L'écrin des Orres building.

Board options

All of the apartments are self-catered, with a fully-equipped kitchen allowing you to choose your own products from the local supermarkets to make homemade dishes, with international as well as French options. Home to a variety of restaurants and bars, the resort of Les Orres is well equipped with a variety of cuisines.

Services

The residence offers a video game area, pétanque balls and board games are available for loan at the reception.
Your residence also organizes a welcome drink and a snack for the children once a week.

Les Orres

Les Orres erupts into a sea of green during the summer months, with panoramic views across the valleys, mountains, lakes, and pastures of wild flowers. The area also boasts a near Mediterranean climate in the summer that is pleasantly tempered by the resort's altitude. With a range of summer activities on offer, this resort, and many like it, are ever-increasingly popular summer holiday destinations.

Activities

While skiing is the main attraction of Les Orres in the winter, guests to the area in the summer will enjoy exploring the mountain on its many pretty trails and paths. There are difficult paths for those wanting to enjoy the stunning views, as well as more gentle trails for families travelling with little ones. For a fantastic day out the Serre-Poncon Lake is idyllically situated for a picnic, as well as offering some more adrenaline-fuelled activities. Guests of all ages will enjoy kayaking, canoeing, rowing, wind surfing or water skiing.

Late arrival (after 8 pm)

Please inform the reception or the reservations centre in advance and we will advise you of the late arrival procedure.

Key collection

Check in is from 5 pm onwards. The keys are available at Parc des Airelles's reception on presentation of your voucher.

Deposit

On arrival you have to pay a deposit of 400Eu (Visa, Euro Card, French Cheque) for your apartment. Your deposit will be returned to you 15 days after your departure with any necessary deductions made for breakages and additional cleaning.

Cleaning

End of Stay Cleaning is not included in the accommodation price and clients are required to clean the property before departure. Please note that cleaning products are not always provided.

An End of Stay Cleaning deposit of 56-112Eu (depending on type) will be taken upon arrival which will be returned along with your Damage Deposit.

Payment Conditions

Ski France offers 3 options for payment:

1) Pay in 3 instalments: 10% deposit at the time of booking, 10% two months before the date of arrival and the remaining balance one month before the date of arrival. This method of payment is only available for bookings made by telephone more than 70 days before the stay.
2) Pay in two instalments: 10% deposit at the time of booking and payment of the remaining balance 14 days before the date of arrival. This method of payment is only available when the booking is made more than 15 days before the arrival date.
3) Pay in 1 instalment: pay the full amount at the time of booking and receive a discount of 15 GBP on the overall price of the stay. This method of payment is valid for stays of 7 nights or more, booked more than 40 days before arrival and for a minimum purchase of 150 GBP.

- Any extras added more than 15 days prior to arrival will be added to the final payment
- Any extras added after the final payment to be paid at the time of addition to booking.
-If the booking was made under the 'non refundable' terms, the total amount will be debited at the time of the booking (the discount of 15 GBP is not available on these prices).

Methods of payment accepted:
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, cheques*, holiday vouchers*.
*(only for reservations made more than a month before arrival).
For payments desired by cheque or holiday vouchers the deposit must be paid by way of debit/credit card - Visa, Mastercard, American Express and the second and/or third payment can be made by cheque or holiday voucher.
Arrival date less than 15 days: The total amount of the booking must be paid in full online, by debit/credit card at the time of booking.

Cancellation policy

1) If you choose Free Cancellation Conditions
If the client cancels a reservation the following amounts will be retained:
-More than 30 days before the arrival date: repayment of the deposit
-Between 30 days and the date of arrival: 100% of the total price will be retained.
-No show: the total price of the reservation will be retained

2) If you choose Standard Conditions
If the client cancels a reservation the following amounts will be retained:
-More than 30 days before the date of arrival: 30% of the price of the holiday
-Between 30 days and 21 days before arrival: 45% of the price of the holiday
-Between 20 days and 8 days before arrival: 60% of the price of the holiday
-Between 7 days and 4 days before arrival: 90% of the price of the holiday
-Less than 3 days before arrival: 100% of the price of the holiday

3) If you choose Non Refundable Conditions
As part of the low price non-refundable offer, in the case of a cancellation you will be invoiced for the total amount at any time

From the North: Motorway exit Grenoble (150km). Then N85 or N75 untill Embrun From the South: Motorway A51 untill La Saulca-Tallard and then N94 untill Embrun and then Les Orres. The residence is situated at Préclaux area, out of the village centre Lyon 250 km, Grenoble 150 km, Marseille 220 km, Briançon 60 km, Gap 46 km.
