Location

The Résidence les Jardins de la Vanoise are conveniently located in the main street of Pralognan resort, just 50 metres from the resort centre and its services, shops and restaurants as well as lifts into the stunning mountains.

The 4-star apartment complex provides a cosy lounge area with Wi-Fi and plus easy access to a host of outdoor activities which can be found in the town of Pralognan and the surrounding area. There is plenty to keep families, couples and groups alike entertained, with the tourist office offering visitors free rental of balls, bats and equipment.

The apartments

Relax and unwind on a holiday in Pralognan, at the fully renovated in 2021, 4-star Résidence les Jardins de la Vanoise. After a long day on the mountain, take the short walk or lift to the apartments and sit back in the cosy lounge with a pre-dinner aperitif and free Wi-Fi. Alternatively, take a stroll outside and enjoy stunning views of the resort and its surrounding alpine landscape.

The apartments offer plenty of space, with a fully equipped kitchen offering a microwave oven, kettle, toaster, washing machine, dishwasher, cafetière, crockery and cutlery. The apartments also boast balconies or terraces, with beautiful views over the resort.

Board options

All of the apartments at the Résidence les Jardins de la Vanoise are self-catered, with fully equipped kitchens where guests can prepare their own meals as and when, as opposed to being committed to hotel meal times. The village of Pralognan is on the doorstep and offers some fantastic dining and drinking options, with bars and restaurants scattered throughout. Lunches are available at various cafés and restaurants across the mountain, while supermarkets and a regional food market are both less than 300m away. TV, bed linen and towels are included in the reservation.

There are some incredible opportunities to explore the surrounding mountainous landscape of Pralognan during the summer season, which runs from June to August. Pralognan benefits from a remote and natural setting, while providing a wealth of fun for all ages. With activities ranging from hiking, to swimming, fishing and golf, plus a beautiful alpine setting with lush landscapes and breath-taking views, Pralognan offers the perfect location for a summer alpine holiday. You can even discover how delicious French cheeses are made in the local fromagerie.

Activities

Hiking and mountain biking are ideal ways to experience the best of the mountains, with well-trodden paths and more remote trails to explore. Families will love mountain and forest adventures and walks, which provide the perfect setting for hide and seek, as well as picnics.

Thrill-seekers will enjoy white water sports, including canoeing and climbing within close proximity, with a stunning river and some fast rapids just waiting to be explored. Book a guided day trip and enjoy canoeing down the river, as well as a delicious packed lunch whilst the guide points out interesting parts of the scenery and offers an insight into the area's history and culture. There is plenty for those simply wishing to relax, with a gym and heated swimming pool in the resort.

Things to see

Within the Pralognan resort there are plenty of activities not to be missed. From walking or biking through the beautiful mountainous surroundings, to climbing for youngsters, there is something for everyone. The whole family will enjoy a visit to the local fromagerie, or dairy, where the locals will offer an insight into this fascinating tradition, as well as providing visitors with plenty of opportunities to sample some of the cheeses.

Key collection

Check in is from 5 pm onwards. The keys are available at the reception on presentation of your voucher

Deposit

On arrival you have to pay a deposit of 400Eu (Visa, Euro Card, French Cheque) for your apartment. Your deposit will be returned to you 15 days after your departure with any necessary deductions made for breakages and additional cleaning.

Cleaning

End of Stay Cleaning is not included in the accommodation price and clients are required to clean the property before departure. Please note that cleaning products are not always provided.

An End of Stay Cleaning deposit of 56-154Eu (depending on type) will be taken upon arrival which will be returned along with your Damage Deposit.

Payment conditions

Ski France offers 3 options for payment:

1) Pay in 3 instalments: 10% deposit at the time of booking, 10% two months before the date of arrival and the remaining balance one month before the date of arrival. This method of payment is only available for bookings made by telephone more than 70 days before the stay.
2) Pay in two instalments: 10% deposit at the time of booking and payment of the remaining balance 30 days before the date of arrival. This method of payment is only available when the booking is made more than 31 days before the arrival date.
3) Pay in 1 instalment: pay the full amount at the time of booking and receive a discount of 15 GBP on the overall price of the stay. This method of payment is valid for stays of 7 nights or more, booked more than 40 days before arrival and for a minimum purchase of 150 GBP.

- Any extras added more than 30 days prior to arrival will be added to the final payment
- Any extras added after the final payment to be paid at the time of addition to booking.
-If the booking was made under the 'non refundable' terms, the total amount will be debited at the time of the booking (the discount of 15 GBP is not available on these prices).

*(only for reservations made more than a month before arrival).
For payments desired by cheque or holiday vouchers the deposit must be paid by way of debit/credit card - Visa, Mastercard, American Express and the second and/or third payment can be made by cheque or holiday voucher.
Arrival date less than 40 days: The total amount of the booking must be paid in full online, by debit/credit card at the time of booking.

Cancellation conditions

1) If you choose Free Cancellation Conditions
If the client cancels a reservation the following amounts will be retained:
-More than 30 days before the arrival date: repayment of the deposit
-Between 30 days and the date of arrival: 100% of the total price will be retained.
-No show: the total price of the reservation will be retained

2) If you choose Standard Conditions
If the client cancels a reservation the following amounts will be retained:
-More than 30 days before the date of arrival: 30% of the price of the holiday
-Between 30 days and 21 days before arrival: 45% of the price of the holiday
-Between 20 days and 8 days before arrival: 60% of the price of the holiday
-Between 7 days and 4 days before arrival: 90% of the price of the holiday
-Less than 3 days before arrival: 100% of the price of the holiday

3) If you choose Non Refundable Conditions
As part of the low price non-refundable offer, in the case of a cancellation you will be invoiced for the total amount at any time
